So what if the best version of this song is actually a
cover, that gives Mariah Carey no right to warble her way
through it like a strangled cat. You can either hit the
notes or you can't, don't sing around them like an animal in
pain. Although there were numerous other covers, Kelly
Clarkson, Shirley Bassey, Heart, Air Supply, not one is a
patch on Harry Nilsson - not even the Badfinger
original.

Billy Joel and you have to give them full marks for trying,
but even putting Claudia Schiffer in the video couldn't make
this a decent cover. Bought by pre pubescent girls and later
slammed by Westlife themselves. Still, guess it earned them
a few bob.
