Aphrodisiac
Foods
1. Tomatoes
When they were first brought from South America to Europe,
tomatoes were thought to be the forbidden fruits of Eden.
They were celebrated as a sexual stimulant and nicknamed
'love apples.' Who'd have thought Margarita Pizza could be
nature's viagra?
2.
Ginseng
The Chinese refer to Ginseng as 'elixir of life' and have
used it for more than 5000 years. Russian experiments claim
it increases sexual energy and has a general healing
influence on the body.
3.
Garlic
Both the Romans and the Greeks sang the praises of garlic as
an aphrodisiac.They
didn't even use mouthwash back then either.
4.
Caviar
OK
so I don't get it. As legend goes, Aphrodite was born from
foam of the sea and therefore fish eggs will get you in the
mood. But any increased energy from the 30% protein will
surely be diluted by the price. Plus, it's fish
eggs!
5. Oysters
Rich in phosphorous and praised by none other than Casanova.
They are easily digestible but taste disgusting - still, if
it gets you in the mood.
6.
Eel
Said
to be favoured as an aphrodisiac due to it's phallic
appearance but surely the size would lead to inadequacy
issues. Apparently has an excitant effect on the bladder and
is high in potassium.
7.
Peaches
Apparently symbolic of female genitalia, brothels were once
known as 'Peach Houses'.
8.
Honey
Sticky, messy, highly impractical but highly nutritious and
full of minerals and amino acids to keep you up all night.
9.Asparagus
Excites the urinary passage and has all the necessary
vitamins and minerals to maintain high energy levels but,
rather unfortunately, can cause apathy and sexual uninterest
making it a shit aphrodisiac!
