Admittedly George Clooney and Val Kilmer were rubbish
but Christian Bale and Michael Keaton were good at acting as
the winged vigilante. Who couldn't love a guy with a car
like that who is a millionaire and can disguise his identity
with just mask! Great disguise!

3. Wonder Woman
Strictly not a film but a series. On the list simply due
to her ability to change in a twirl, bullet proof bracelets
and amazing utility belt - also she was the first real
female super hero.

4. Spiderman
He may have the powers of most people's least favourite
household pest but he certainly has a way with the ladies -
well, Mary Jane. Worrying how no-one notices that suddenly
he beefs up and can see without his glasses though. Also -
what happened to the spider after it bit him?

5. X Men
Three great films where the heroes are actually mutants.
Hugh Jackman, as Wolverine, steals the show from a decidedly
mediocre Halle Berry as Storm - a mutant who can control the
weather. A brilliant trilogy simply for the hours you can
spend debating who has the best powers.

Incredibles
A whole family of super heroes. Violet can turn
invisible, mum is elastic, dash is, as his name suggests,
blessed with super speed, dad is super strong and the baby -
let's not go there. Awesome film from the makers of Toy
story and A Bugs Life.

Incredible Hulk
Yes, he looked like an evil version of the jolly green
giant but he was meant to be a good guy. Also - he's quite
brainy - even if he does end up accidentally hulkifying
himself.

Four
Starring the gorgeous Jessica Alba and Ioan
Gruffudd. The story is based around five friends who gain
superhuman powers: flexibility, brute strength, invisibility
and projecting force fields, and bursting into flame.

Spin
