Johnny Vaughan.
TV presenter Johnny Vaughan Vaughan's spent 25 months in
prison in the latter half of the 1980s after unsuccessfully
trying to sell cocaine to detectives at a hotel close to the
M1 motorway.
2. Gary
Glitter.
British
rock star Gary Glitter was jailed for three years after a
Vietnamese court found him guilty of sexually abusing two
young girls in 2006. On his release, he will be deported and
could face more charges in Britain. I'm guessing it won't be
so good to be back!
3. 'Prince'
Naseem Hamed.
Prince Naseem was sentenced to 15-months for
dangerous driving that seriously injured another motorist in
May 2006. However, he only served a few weeks.

4. Jeffrey
Archer.
Millionaire novelist Lord Archer was jailed for
four years after being found guilty of perjury and
perverting the course of justice in 2001 but was released in
2003. One of the few people who made a success from his
incarceration and published numerous prison
diaries.
5. Oscar Wilde.
Imprisoned at Reading Gaol after being found guilty of
homosexual offences in 1895 and was sentenced to two years -
even wrote a balled about it.
6. Jonathan
King.
Pop mogul Jonathon King was jailed in 2001 for four
indecent assaults and two serious sexual offences on boys
aged 14 and 15. He was freed from prison after serving half
his seven-year term for sex
crimes.
7. Nelson
Mandela.
The first President of South Africa to be elected in
fully-representative democratic elections. Before his
presidency he was a prominent anti-apartheid activist and
leader of the African National Congress. He was tried and
imprisoned for 27 years for his involvement in underground
armed resistance activities.

Stewart.
Domestic
goddess Martha Stewart was given a five-month jail sentence
for lying to stock market regulators in 2004. However, she
managed to make a comeback and in 2006 was nominated in 6
categories for the 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy
Awards.
9. Duncan
Ferguson.
Scottish
footballer Duncan Ferguson was jailed for three months after
head butting Raith Rovers defender John McStay in 1994 while
playing for Rangers. He served 74 days.
