X-Men
1.
Wolverine
Firstly, he is played by Hugh Jackman in the films and that
is bonus points for any character. Then there are his
awesome powers - retractable claws, healing ability,
heightened senses....did I mentioned he was played by Hugh
Jackman.
2.
Rogue
Rogue has the power to become the most powerful X-Man as
any skin to skin contact causes her to absorb the powers and
memories of whoever she touches. Was originally a villain in
the comics - but not in the film - and was brought to
Professor X by Mystique.
3.
Professor X
Without Professor X (Xavier), there would be no X-Men
but his powers are so boring. He is very much a team player,
the world's most powerful telepath he strives to control
Magneto and gain a loyal following of mutants.
4.
Jean Grey
Jean Grey is host to the most powerful entity in the
universe. One of the original X-Men, Jean has become the
symbol of death and rebirth among the mutant population.
Partnered with the Phoenix Force, she has returned to the
X-Men on several occasions. Had the lucky job of being the
object of both Cyclops' and Wolverine's attention in the
film.
5.
Nightcrawler
Nightcrawler is feared and hated for his appearance but
has enhanced agility, nightvision and teleportation which
make him an extremely useful mutant to know. He has remained
true to the X-Men and has potential to do well, if given a
chance.
6.
Magneto
With a near complete control over electromagnetic spectrum
Magneto can manipulate metals at will. He is Professor X's
nemesis who, in the film X-Men 2, has to be held in a
purpose built, metal free jail and still manages to
escape!
7.
Blink
Poor girl, never got to be in the films but rocks
anyway. She creates portals that teleport her and anyone who
enters to far away locations and is fiercely loyal to
Sabretooth. Has potential but has never been fully exploited
as a character.
8.
Cyclops
The power to blast with the eyes is great as well as the
antics he got into the comics - lost two wives, discovered
two lost brothers - however, he was a big disappointment in
the film. The only interest was his link to Jean Grey.
9.
Iceman
With the ability to freeze moisture around him - Ice man
would be great at a party! Bobby has very little confidence
but has the potential to become a more powerful mutant than
Professor X.
